The Fruit Loop[edit]

There is a section of Schenley_Park along Prospect Drive commonly referred to as "The Fruit Loop." This designation is at least 30 years old. It is the traditional area of town where gay men sun bathe during the summer, as well as other activities. This designation has been recently the mainstream newspaper, the Post-Gazette, in a series of 2005 articles [1] I know this portion of Schenley Park's character is highly disliked and disdained by the Pittsburgh Community as a whole, but its existence is factual and worth mentioning. If someone with more wiki experience could write a basic article, and link it here, I think it would add to the wiki's body of knowledge. (71.182.178.241 15:23, 1 April 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Go Skateboarding Day Section[edit]

I am removing this section because it apparently doesn't have anything to do with Schenley Park (it happed outside it according to the text), is completly unsourced, and doesn't even include a date. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.206.238.209 (talk) 03:55, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you would have looked at the sources at the bottom of the page, you would have seen the reference for this section. Of course you did not see it, because the reference still exists although the information does not. Please completely check your work before editing history. It at one time did include a date and references, perhaps other edits have removed them. Perhaps you could have checked this information and added it rather than deleting it completely. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 150.212.2.238 (talk) 15:12, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
