Health effects[edit]

Can we put something in here about why it is banned? Presumably there are some deleterious health affects associated with this dye? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.22.26.53 (talk) 20:11, 8 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Structure and naming[edit]

There are a lot of errors in this page, which seems to combine information for two different compounds.

The CAS record for "Ponceau SX"[1] contains most on the synonyms on this page, but the structure doesn't match the one in this article and it doesn't include the name "Scarlet GN". The structure in a PubChem record for "Scarlet GN"[2] matches then one here – it also includes the identifier E 125. TheMikrobe (talk) 10:43, 17 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
