Edit rationale[edit]

I don't agree that just because there's another topic that differs only in capitalization, it should be treated as a "second primary topic"; as pointed out in the discussion you linked, CRYSTAL is a much less common usage than the shiny rock, and SATAN is a much less common usage than the devil. But I'll concede on that in the spirit of compromise. However, you gave no reason for restoring the old descriptions (seriously, what's the point of an edit summary that says "reverting descriptions" with no indication why -- do you really imagine that I would just think "oh, well" or what?) and I have a reason for ditching them -- they're pointless clutter. Also, the page already had subsections, I just made them consistent instead of leaving a bunch of totally random links at the top, one level-4 heading, and one level-2 heading. Fine, the heading and descriptions don't matter, but the usage of redirects such as "Mr. Satan" is mundane (see WP:PIPING#Where piping may be appropriate). Explain please. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 23:51, 29 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I just used the redirects that were in place before I edited the page; if you think they should be changed to piped links, that's okay with me. (I also deleted one of the "fictional characters" because it seemed more like a depiction of the traditional Satan than an actual separate character named Satan, and also the linked article didn't really say anything about the character, but I wouldn't argue if anyone else wanted to add him back.)
