Several parts of this article look like an advert, especially the last paragraph:

"Sappi aims to decrease its impact on the environment and aid conservation programmes through several measures. To reduce its carbon footprint, Sappi is increasingly using alternative energy sources, such as powering operations at several South African mills using biomass recovered from wood and bark waste instead of coal.[6] Other carbon reduction schemes include a link with Volvo Car South Africa, whereby Sappi will create incentives for buyers of Volvo vehicles by planting sufficient indigenous trees to neutralise the carbon emissions that the vehicle would produce over 100 000 km.[7]

Sappi is also involved in wildlife conservation measures, such as its involvement in the Sappi WWF TreeRoutes Partnership which has set up community based ecotourism venues such as the new Karkloof Conservation Center which helps protect all three of South Africa's crane species."

I decided to remove the whole section. --Qtea (talk) 09:59, 19 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Would it not make more sense to put this kind of thing into the article AND accompany it with information that either supports or undermines such claims (or both). I actually came to this article because I encountered similar claims from Sappi, in the context of a design competition the company is sponsoring (to promote great ideas and visions, or whatever). Any company that based A LOT of its public images on claims to be doing the right thing, and encouraging others to do the right thing, DOES deserve a hearing... even if that examination concludes the claims are baseless. What if they're not baseless? What if Sappi really IS pioneering responsible practices in an industry notorious for its rapaciousness? I don't know anything at all about the actual record of the company, but I would like to. 58.6.220.122 (talk) 03:22, 8 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Article name?[edit]

I wonder if Sappi Ltd. would be a clearer, more formally accurate name for this article. Thanks, DA Sonnenfeld (talk) 11:31, 5 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
