Romanization[edit]

In the book นานาวิสามานยนาม ฉบับราชบัณฑิตยสภา, which was released as a gift from a seminar hosted by the Royal Society last July, there is a list of districts and subdistricts in Bangkok. The romanization of this subdistrict name is given as "San Chaopho Suea". --Potapt (talk) 21:22, 16 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I just noticed that my move comment was truncated. The correct link is http://www.royin.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/ชื่อจังหวัดอำเภอตำบลเขตแขวงแก้ไข14สค62.pdf (though you probably already know that). The PDF filename says it was updated 14 August 2019, so there appears to be conflict in the Royal Society's published information. I guess we could choose to follow the book. Do you have its ISBN? --Paul_012 (talk) 01:48, 17 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. 978-616-389-099-3. --Potapt (talk) 11:40, 17 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
It seems like the list in the book is more updated because the names of the subdistricts established in 2017 appear on it. They have also changed the spellings จระเข้บัว and บางลำพูล่าง to จรเข้บัว and บางลำภูล่าง, used by the Department of Provincial Administration. --Potapt (talk) 11:48, 17 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Okay; restored changes. --Paul_012 (talk) 02:00, 18 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Mentioning that a PDF of the above-mentioned book is available online at https://www.orst.go.th/FILEROOM/CABROYINWEB/DRAWER004/GENERAL/DATA0004/00004233.PDF . --Paul_012 (talk) 17:43, 20 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
