Geography[edit]

"San Andrés has a fairly flat topography with the highest point in the island reported at an elevation of 84 km (52 mi) (104 km (65 mi) is also referred) above sea level."

An elevation of 84 km => 84000 mt? Would that be "flat"? Shurely shome mishtake here...

Errors[edit]

Obviously no-one reads these pages. Corrected elevations to 55 m from 84 km but unsure how to change references. Got that figure from

Relative Dates in Tourism Section[edit]

The following sentences currently appear in the Tourism section:

The past three years has increased the number of tourists to San Andres. Tourists increased from 341,293 in 2003 to 377,619 last year, of which 292,741 are foreign nationals and 84,878 from elsewhere in Colombia.

There is no clear indication of which years are "the past three years," and in particular which is "last year," in the sentences. I checked the included reference, which is in Spanish, and I could not find a definitive answer, although the article appears to have been written in 2007. In addition, the numbers listed in the above sentence do not seem to actually appear in the referenced article. If my Spanish were a little better, I'd figure out what years were being referenced and fix it myself. Anyone willing to give it a go? --IrishCowboy (talk) 18:12, 17 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Translating to "Saint Andrew"[edit]

Please do not translate the names of the islands to English. "El Paso, TX" is not "The Step, TX," and "San Antonio" is not "Saint Anthony, TX" and "San Francisco, CA" is not "Saint Francis, CA". Notre Dame Cathedral is not "Our Lady Cathedral." I might understand if Colombia didn't use Latin letters, but they do. Just please don't translate names (It's ok to say what it means once).
