Samuel McIntire furniture vs house values[edit]

Like the situation with the Childe Hassam painting Rainy Day on Columbus Avenue, Boston some of the federal furniture by Samuel McIntire sells for more than the house that might have been involved. The remaining individual brownstones in the Childe Hassam painting have not received as high an appraisal as the painting. Individual pieces of furniture built for houses Samuel McIntire constructed sometimes now exceed them in value.RichardBond (talk) 12:34, 3 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
