Name[edit]

What a shame that she didn't follow her Icelandic heritage and call herself Sally Magnusdóttir. That would have been cool. Jess Cully 23:20, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bear in mind that her grandfather was called Sigursteinn and so her father, spending most of his life in Scotland, was the one to abandon the Icelandic convention by taking his father's patronym as a surname, according to his article. 79.68.228.6 (talk) 18:01, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Author[edit]

Might also be notable enough to mention that she wrote a biography about Olympic gold-medalist and missionary Eric Liddell. Invmog (talk) 00:21, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
