Rename article as "Salicornia."[edit]

I'm planning to rename this article "Salicornia," which is more in line with the Wikipedia Plants Project guidelines. In addition, the term "glasswort" is pretty ambiguous, and refers to species in Salicornia, Salsola, etc.. So I think the "glasswort" name should be reserved for a disambiguation page. Please comment here if you object.Easchiff 18:33, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is rock samphire even a sort of salicornium? The classification table in the article over there show some totally different orders. De728631 (talk) 19:04, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The 2 species are different. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:569:BD8A:C700:ADA2:21E1:EF58:3D9E (talk) 16:16, 5 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sea asparagus?[edit]

It seems odd that this page redirects from 'sea asparagus', but there is no mention of sea asparagus in the article aside from a reference in a footnote. Perhaps there should be some commentary on sea asparagus in the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.189.127.13 (talk) 15:21, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Some relation with romeritos?[edit]

This plant seems similar to Mexican romeritos, any botanical relation? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2806:106E:B:C6E9:D9ED:BF4:33B5:5A64 (talk) 10:15, 3 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
