Karen Girls?[edit]

Why are the songs they did not on here? Or even who their third member was? Kyrailz (talk) 04:07, 10 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Do you need an article about "Karen Girl's"? (That's how it was spelled officially.) I can create it. But Karen Girl's was a separate group, so their songs don't belong to this article for sure. --Moscow Connection (talk) 04:20, 10 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oh. I didn't know it was a seperate group. I thought it was a subgroup. Thank you for clarifying. And for the link. Kyrailz (talk) 19:56, 13 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
    • And for building the whole page. Jeez. Lol. Kyrailz (talk) 19:58, 13 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

BABYMETAL[edit]

Is BABYMETAL large enough to spawn their own page yet? They're becoming quite a popular group in their own right. Just do a google search for the name. GrapperJ (talk) 01:54, 18 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Blacklisted Links Found on Sakura Gakuin[edit]

Cyberbot II has detected links on Sakura Gakuin which have been added to the blacklist, either globally or locally. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed or are highly inappropriate for Wikipedia. The addition will be logged at one of these locations: local or global If you believe the specific link should be exempt from the blacklist, you may request that it is white-listed. Alternatively, you may request that the link is removed from or altered on the blacklist locally or globally. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. Please do not remove the tag until the issue is resolved. You may set the invisible parameter to "true" whilst requests to white-list are being processed. Should you require any help with this process, please ask at the help desk.

Below is a list of links that were found on the main page:

Will be making edits to the past members table soon[edit]

I think I've identified some edits that could be made to the past members table (and maybe some other tables but I focused on that one) that will increase its accessibility (as well as allow it to more fully convey everything the timeline below it conveys, since the timeline doesn't produce alt text for screen reader users (and I don't think it's feasible at present to replace the timeline with a more accessible solution). This might involve adjusting some rows around, so I wanted to give a heads up before I actually start to edit. - Purplewowies (talk) 05:29, 31 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Didn't do everything I wanted but instituted a rowspan change. - Purplewowies (talk) 22:17, 7 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@onefive as a spinoff group[edit]

Should @onefive be included as a spinoff group in the infobox like Babymetal is? This press release by Amuse, among other articles, describes @onefive as a "derivative unit" (派生ユニット) of Sakura Gakuin. This is the same phrase that is used to describe Jūonbu/Babymetal in this article, and in this reference that is used in the Japanese Wikipedia article on Babymetal to describe Jūonbu (重音部, Heavy Music Club) as a "derivative unit" (派生ユニット) of Sakura Gakuin, found under the "2010年 - 2012年" header. @onefive performed during Sakura Gakuin Festival 2019, but I was hesitating to add them as a spinoff/derivative group, despite the aforementioned sources describing them as such, because they did not perform at Sakura Gakuin shows as many times as Babymetal. It should also be mentioned that another editor had added Sakura Gakuin to the infobox in the article on @onefive, listing the group as a spinoff of Sakura Gakuin, and we should aim for consistency across both articles one way or the other after this discussion. Please let me know what you think. - User350 (talk) 02:05, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I was hoping to get some input from other editors first, but after a week without any responses, I think it is reasonable to proceed with including @onefive as a spinoff group because a considerable number of sources, found below, describe them as a "derivative unit" (派生ユニット) of, or a unit derived from, Sakura Gakuin. For comparison, this Oricon article and this Nikkan Sports article, in addition to the Rockin'On article I had previously mentioned, use phrases that are identical or nearly identical to the sources below to describe Babymetal, which is currently listed as a spinoff group. Therefore, we can be confident that listing @onefive as a spinoff group of Sakura Gakuin is consistent with how they are described in multiple reliable, secondary, published sources.
