- Don, maybe you could flesh that opinion with a list of facts, or find someone who can. I know it will be hard to find facts, pre-history by definition there aren't many facts other than what can be determined by archeological digs and the analysis of the DNA bones, but I think it is a task that would be well worth the effort.

What has always intrigued me is the wars that occurred here and the shifting of national boundaries back when the nations were made up of the many aboriginal nations. It would be a fascinating subject to read about. Sadly current mainstream histories generally impose the European-decided boundaries on the region that is now Canada and they treat all the first nations as a single nation, a single culture and a single country. 50.71.80.195 (talk) 21:39, 1 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that there are many statements not referenced with an appropriate citation, most prominently in the history section. I would like to know which sources contained information about each segment, so others will be able to know the reliability of each source.
