History of the SS.11[edit]

Folks, the SS.11 first use was in the Algerian War of 1954-62 against caves of the FLN. It was never used in the Vietnam War. I have the links for the references which I will add later to the article. The first two external links are of photos sent me by Aerospatiale who took over from NORD manufacturing the SS.11 and AS.12 and the rights to the SS.10 for articles either in print or electronically. Aerospatiale became a part of Euromissile and that firm is now a part of MBDA. The 3rd is a US Army photo which by federal law is public domain. I will try and get it uploaded to commons if there is a wish to have the photo shown in the article and not an external link. --Jackehammond (talk) 09:09, 6 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Cost[edit]

From the edit summary comment, I assume the editor who removed the phrase "... a cost very few missiles of any type have approached at that time or now" assumed it was referring to high price. I believe, however, that the intent was to indicate how few missiles have ever been that cheap. I do agree with removing it though, as it isn't really encyclopediac.
