Merger proposal[edit]

It's my opinion that SPARCstation 4 should be merged into the SPARCstation 5 article, because much of the information in this article applies to both models, or is even discussing the SPARCstation 4 already. Bhtooefr (talk) 01:44, 1 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It might be done, but how can I know the difference between a SS4 and a SS5 from the resulting article? Unfortunately, I don't know enough about the machines to write it myself. --Tingo99 (talk) 12:30, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It's a good point, but the original SPARCstation 4 article had nothing more than you see in the current SPARCstation 5 article, so the merge itself isn't the problem.
