Issues[edit]

I dare not edit the article itself, given the Gröner book as a source, but I have found at least two other sources - Encyclopedia of U-Boats from 1904 to the Present and The U-Boat Century - German Submarine Warfare 1906-2006 supporting the version that the engines were two 450hp diesels (and also a pair of electric engines/generators at 660hp combined). The gun is to be 88 mm deck gun, not 55 mm (main UE-I article here on Wiki agrees with me). For further improvements, The U-boat century has a short passage about the mechanics of minelaying on UE types. Cheers from Poland. Radagast13 (talk) 11:17, 28 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
