I'll take on this review. --Starstriker7 - public(talk) 07:51, 15 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Criterion 1[edit]

Lead[edit]

  • What's the difference between a lead ship and a flagship?

Construction[edit]

  • Would it make sense to wikilink "keel"?

Service history[edit]

Service in East Asia[edit]
  • I'd wikilink the Kiautschou Bay concession later in the sentence to [[to seize Kiautschou by force]], but I won't hold you to doing this.
  • "Kaiser left Shanghai, headed toward Kiautschou" --> Kaiser left Shanghai and headed towards Kiautschou.
  • The prose of the section says that the ship was broken up in "Harburg"; the infobox says "Hamburg".
    • Fixed the first two as per your suggestion - turns out Harburg is in Hamburg, so I changed both to Harburg. Parsecboy (talk) 10:30, 15 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Criterion 2[edit]

Looks good.

Criterion 3[edit]

  • Can you find the name of the German consul who was murdered in Salonika?
    • I found this, which states that his name was Mr. Abbott, but that appears to be as much as I can find. Most accounts simply refer to him as the German consul (it seems the French consul was murdered as well, by the way). I'll dig a little more and see if I can get a first name.

Criterion 4[edit]

The article is neutral in tone, and gives no undue weight to any particular point of view (none are really presented in the article anyways).

Criterion 5[edit]

The article's edit history checks out, and it all looks stable.

Criterion 6[edit]

All images check out.

Overall comments[edit]

Nice work, Parsecboy. :) Mostly, I just have questions to clarify my ignorance on the subject of warships. There are also a couple of wikilinking and continuity issues, but nothing big at all. I'll put this on hold. It was actually quite a pleasure to read! --Starstriker7 - public(talk) 08:06, 15 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks for reviewing the article. I think I've taken care of everything you found. Regards, Parsecboy (talk) 10:32, 15 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
