  • Could use a sentence or two on who Admiral Lazarev was? Not every flag-officer gets a ship named after him.
  • " of 269–74 officers and crewmen" of between 269–274" would flow better, and MOS has recently changed not to drop the leading digit.
    • I hate this change. "Bad RfC, Bad boy!"
  • Subject-verb agreement, " but accuracy was poor and they were later removed,"; The they were implies there was more than one mortar installed, while the prior sentence indicates there was only one.
  • " armor that 4–4.5 inches (102–114 mm) thick" That was 4...?
  • "The turrets had 6 inches (152 mm) inches"
  • I'm going to be a pain and ask for a direct citation for "This may have been the first serious proposal by a designer for an aircraft carrier that utilized most of the features of modern carriers."
