DeCerchio[edit]

I have no vendetta against DeCerchio, and I resent the accusation. I don't see how mentioning DeCerchio, one of Russ Gibb's most successful students, and DeCerchio's accomplishments as a commercial director (IMDb lists him as creator of "Yes I Am") qualifies as a vendetta.68.41.109.188 06:28, 23 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is Mr. Gibb's Wikipedia page. You have attempted to co-opt it into a platform for your aggression against Decerchio, who is, nothing more than a footnote in Mr. Gibbs storied past. DeCerchio is irrelevant to Mr. Gibb, but clearly, to you, he is the subject of this page. You "resent the accusation?" You best check you're history -- your vendetta has left digital tracks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.106.243.17 (talk) 07:52, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't think it was irrelevant-- one can trace DeCerchio's success to Gibb's teaching, just as one could trace Cameron Crowe's success at Rolling Stone to his work for Gibb's magazine. (Both men were mentioned in an earlier version of the article.)

I don't want to cause any waves, I don't mean any trouble, I don't hold any vendetta against DeCerchio, having never actually met the man (though I did enjoy his "Yes I am" commercials and his short film with D'Onfrio immensely). I apologise if I've caused anyone any stress and have not edited the page since the fifteenth, and I will continue not to edit the page.

I'm sorry if I overreacted to the "vendetta" comment, but I felt it was unwarranted, as that wasn't what I was doing.68.41.109.188 23:48, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
