Cumulus drops Limbaugh[edit]

Cumulus is dropping Limbaugh today. Several of the news sources list this controversy as a possible reason for dropping the show. Should this be included? 68.153.29.9 (talk) 14:56, 29 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Absolutly. Lets gather sources that link it to the controvorsy and add it.Casprings (talk) 17:35, 29 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed edit[edit]

I added the following to the article:

Conservative commentator Jim Hoft wondered why Fluke's millionaire boyfriend, Adam Mutterperl, wasn't willing to pay for their birth control.[1]

Chucky Cheerio (talk) 20:16, 4 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

removed the bit for now, mostly because I'm not seeing how Hoft meets WP:RS, don't see much about him or his blog from a cursory google search, and almost everything I see dates to dec 2013, nearly two years after the incident this article is about. happy to support reinstating the info should it be proved otherwise. This absolutely isn't a reliable source, Chucky Cheerio. It is speculation without evidence about who her boyfriend is, what his personal finances are, what his politics are, and most bizarrely, about his willingess or lack thereof to pay for birth control. It's a slimy little smear job, not a reliable source. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 04:34, 5 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
It was Fluke who said she couldn't afford birth control, so the fact that her boyfriend is a millionaire is notable. She was dating the same boyfriend when she testified that she couldn't afford birth control. Also, her boyfriend's father is a billionaire and a huge donor to the Democratic Party. Fluke is not the poor, poverty stricken, random person that the she and the media want us to think she is. Chucky Cheerio (talk) 06:03, 6 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Please read about the importance of reliable sources and verifiability. —ADavidB 07:15, 6 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not aware of her having said she "couldn't afford birth control". Do you have a reliable citation for that claim? DoctorCaligari (talk) 00:46, 27 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
The article summarizes Fluke as saying her friend couldn't afford it, and quotes Limbaugh as saying Fluke couldn't afford it (with citations). —ADavidB 17:37, 27 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
