Should we consider Gibbon a reliable source?[edit]

While a monumental secondary source, which has inspired research since, Gibbon's work is rather out-of-date and some of his sources are know known to be bogus. 96.231.17.131 (talk) 18:54, 13 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
