I just discovered[edit]

this page and indeed, the style, though I've been looking at variations of it, or so I believe, for some time and have ben wondering how it influenced America architects suhcs as H.H. Richardson and Louis Sullivan, both of whom employed a variety of heavy arches. Any ideas? Einar aka Carptrash (talk) 02:33, 11 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Franklin School, Washington, DC[edit]

The Franklin School--a symbol of the then new concept of establishing public high schools in urban centers in the United States--is one of the best examples of Rundbogenstil. Shouldn't a photograph of this building be included in this article?Charley sf (talk) 14:11, 30 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
