Table ordering[edit]

What is the table supposed to be ordered by as there doesn't seem to be a consistent ordering of the teams? WDM10 (talk) 00:10, 27 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like it's ordered by Table Points per game, although those points themselves don't add up properly to me. --BDigs153 (talk) 02:58, 17 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Table Points[edit]

How are the table points worked out? The source doesn't seem accurate. As an example; New Zealand couldn't have a losing bonus point as they haven't lost a pool match before. I've added up their table points from all of the World Cups and it comes to 125points, so I'm not sure where 169p came from. I think the source for these table points probably isn't accurate and should be removed. They may be taking into account playoff results (which obviously aren't awarded table points) or adapting early World Cup table points and modernising them with winning and losing bonus points, (which would be inaccurate because bonus points weren't awarded in the first 4 World Cups, and were awarded slightly differently in the latest 2 World Cups). Would be great to resolve all of this because it's quite messy at the moment. --BDigs153 (talk) 03:00, 17 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
