Copyright[edit]

Permission e-mail has been sent to the OTRS team by webpage representative Rebecca Diependaele.GodowskyIsDead (talk) 18:11, 13 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A copy of the permission she sent to me: <e-mail redacted per Wikipedia policy> Leuven, February 10th 2011 GodowskyIsDead (talk) 18:13, 13 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Important: the text on CeBeDeM is identical to the one on MATRIX (for which copyright permission is acquired as stated above). Check for yourself. The same goes for Flanders Music Centre. I cite these pages just to give additional proof of notability, as they are major documentation centres.GodowskyIsDead (talk) 19:03, 13 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

In the event the copyright permission is not accepted, please do not delete the article, but only remove the "style" paragraph (or reword it). This borrows heavily from the MATRIX source (identical to the CeBeDeM and Flemish Music Centre sources), but could of course be reworded to such an extent that it contains only the "information" (which would be devoid of copyright, then). The header is of my own making (and only contains uncopyrightable biographical detail). The "list of works" and "list of prizes" are also uncopyrightable bits of information (of which I have given proof of notability by citations), they are hower selected out of larger lists appearing on the MATRIX/CeBeDeM/Flemish Music Centre websites (so Corenbot flags it just as well, though without any ground).GodowskyIsDead (talk) 19:32, 13 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It has been removed pending verification of permission. As soon as the permission is logged by OTRS, it can be returned. You are welcome to rewrite it into original language in the meantime, if you like, but until that permission is verified, I'm afraid we can't publish it. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 02:04, 17 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Notability[edit]

Also, his importance is proven by the prizes he won. I will add the other sources that cite him.GodowskyIsDead (talk) 18:14, 13 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The only reason the article kept being deleted was of copyright reasons (now resolved), never notability. I refer to user/administrators "RHaworth" and "VQuaker".GodowskyIsDead (talk) 18:17, 13 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

He is also cited in the following Wiki articles: Stephan Vermeersch,Dale WarlandGodowskyIsDead (talk) 18:22, 13 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

And he is important enough to be published by ShirmerGodowskyIsDead (talk) 18:26, 13 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Also in "Contemporary Flemish Choir Music, an analytic and sociological inquiry" (in Dutch on www.nataliegoossens.nl/onderzoeksproject/II_Interviews_en_Analyses_(bijlagen).pdf) it is stated that the lack of international exposure (as opposed to national exposure) is a classic problem. Their is no problem with their notability but with their lack of motivation to publish abroad.GodowskyIsDead (talk) 18:37, 13 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
