P.O.V.[edit]

The article may contain information that is relevant and true, but it is written in a very non-objective, unencyclopædic style, with large swathes of P.O.V. The paragraph beginning “His work on Beyond the Forest (1949) is an under appreciated masterpiece of editing…” is a particularly slanted one, for example. I actually came here to find out more about his credit on Peter Bogdanovich’s “Paper Moon”, where it is noted he supplied the records used on the soundtrack were from his collection: was he an audiophile/ collector/ musicologist/ preserver of records, as well as being a film editor? Or did he just happen to have old records and know Peter Bogdanovich? Jock123 (talk) 15:43, 22 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

There is 1 paragraph of original research that's been tagged for about 18 months. I suppose that paragraph could be deleted at this point, since no one has stepped up to source it. Other than that, I didn't understand why you thought the article wasn't objective.
The credit in Paper Moon is interesting. A bit of research turned up this link: http://www.bampfa.berkeley.edu/film/FN17556 . Not sure it adds anything to what you know already. Easchiff (talk) 17:26, 22 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
