There is also an amazing--if odd--musical band from the San Francisco Bay Area, called Rube Waddell. It would be interesting to have an article on them.

Strikeouts[edit]

So, going into 1946 season, what was thought to be Waddell's strikeouts in 1904? Yes, I see that Bob Feller struck out 348 in 1946, but research then lifted Waddell's 1904 total from ___ to 349. Carlm0404 (talk) 01:00, 17 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Sewageboy: This is quite an interesting fact, but the article does not appear to qualify under DYK's newness requirement. The Waddell article was created 18 years ago, has not been substantially expanded since 2008, and is not a recent "Good Article" promotion. Am I missing something?
