The result of the move request was: moved. DrKiernan (talk) 16:37, 27 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Rubén MartinezRubén Martínez (writer) – Author uses accent marks (per his website), but a page named Rubén Martínez exists for a footballer of the same name. Disambiguation will be needed. 850 C (talk) 15:01, 13 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment I suggest the writer looks like the primary meaning compared to this rather obscure footballer, I suggest moving the footballer to the version with "(footballer)" added and then moving the writer to the previous name. PatGallacher (talk) 16:12, 13 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per nominator. On a related note, I went ahead and converted the redirect Ruben Martinez to a disambiguation page, as well as retitled the "footballer" article. However, I oppose this article being moved to a primary topic title (such as Rubén Martínez); I'm not sure the notability of the writer, but it looks as though between the two articles, they both have quite a few intentional and incorrect incoming links. • Support per nom, and per his English book covers. I have added a Tech request to move the new dab to Rubén Martínez and expanded it and interwikied. In ictu oculi (talk) 00:58, 14 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • I added note regarding the request of moving the DAB page; since a comment exists above about the possibility of the ambiguous title being used for the writer by claiming they are the primary topic, I did not create the disambiguation page there. However, in addition to my "support" above for the nominated move, I also support moving Ruben Martinez (the disambiguation page) to Rubén Martínez. Steel1943 (talk) 01:21, 14 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Goodo, I shelved tech request, can be done by admin closing this RM. Thanks. In ictu oculi (talk) 01:37, 14 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support, when there are variations in Latin script I think it makes sense anyway to move pages from the main place holder. How many people would be able to describe this name is "Rubén, with an e-acute on the second e"? I had to look it up. Gregkaye (talk) 16:53, 22 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
