Marketing[edit]

There seem to have been a few updates to this page recently from the marketing department at the RSNO, with the result that some of the article reads more like a press release than an encyclopedia entry. I have deleted the following list of sponsors and media partners, which didn't appear to serve any purpose other than advertising the companies in question:

The RSNO's principal sponsors and donors currently include TOTAL E&P UK Limited, Standard Life, First ScotRail, STV, Capital Solutions, the essentia group, The Courier, Western SAAB, Shell UK Limited, Cadenhead's, Springbank Distillers Ltd, Mitchell's Glengyle. The RSNO's Media Partners currently include Classic FM, BBC Radio 3 and The Evening Times.

I have left the rest of it unchanged, but it would be nice if we could get some references to back up claims like "generally regarded as amongst the finest available" and "the second disc in the series was released...to widespread critical acclaim" or else tone them down a bit. Reference list[edit]

Reference to the History of the SNO, written by Conrad Wilson and published in 1993, is now included at foot of the page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hwyndham (talkcontribs) 23:24, 16 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You removed the reference list in the process. I've re-added it. Please preview your edits before saving. --Deskford (talk) 23:34, 16 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
