Name is not a good choice?[edit]

There are a lot of articles with people and article being named "of Hesbaye". I think most of these are inappropriate because the "of Hesbaye" is just referring to one speculation about how these people are connected. Pipera (talk) 19:56, 23 February 2024 (UTC) This article has academic issues pertaining to what is correct according r=to the Lambert son of Robert son of Cancor lineage page 4 of Christian Settipani 1990 Addenda someone needs to be educated on the use of ---- in a pedigree chart this is not conclusive and needs to be verified, also Rotrude has ?--- in the chart this is the same conclusion meaning not conclusive and needs to be verified.[reply]

Care needs to be taken in interpretation of pedigree charts and not assume that this is verified when it is not. I have been doing genealogy for over 40 years going back to 1984 and I know what ---- means on a pedigree chart.
