I have reverted [1] the edit which replaced most of the instances of the name Grigorchuk in the article by Hryhorchuk. The spelling "Grigorchuk" is much more common in relation to the subject of the article, and the spelling "Hryhorchuk" is extremely rarely used (I have not seen any published sources that actually use this spelling when talking about him). The subject himself uses the spelling "Grirochuk" as the English transliteration of his name, see his own webpage. Please do not restore the "Hryhorchuk" spelling in the article without first obtaining explicit consensus for doing so here at the article's talk page. I have reverted [2] another edit by the same IP trying to re-insert the spelling "Hryhorchuk" in the article. Note that here we have to go by how WP:RS published sources, and, to some extent (in view of WP:BLP considerations, how the individual in question himself spell his name. The overwhelming majority of published sources use the spelling "Rostislav Grigorchuk". E.g. a GoogleBooks search for "Rostislav Grigorchuk" returns over 2700 hits. By contrast, a plain Google search for "Rostyslav Hryhorchuk" returns the grand total of 3 hits, one of which is to the reverted version of this WP article. As noted above, the subject himself uses the spelling "Grigorchuk", at his webpage and in all of publications and talks. Under these circumstances using "Hryhorchuk" as an alternate spelling of his name in this WP article violates both WP:NOR and WP:BLP. Nsk92 (talk) 11:54, 5 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
