Date and age at move to NY[edit]

The article has her move to NY at age 21 in 1991 - but as she was born in 1973, this would either have been age 18 in 1991, or age 21 in 1994; or maybe something else. Can anyone who knows more about her please correct this? --SilverWings 04:27, 6 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If Sanchez moved to NY at the age of 18 after attending college for three years, does that mean she graduated from high school at the age of 15??

This is wrong. She moved to NY at least after 1994. She won Miss Puerto Rico Petite and Miss American Petite in 1993 and 1994 respectively so she therefore had to wait to crown the new respective beauty queens before she even decided to move to New York. She was 21 or 22 when she moved to New York. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.59.116.209 (talk) 10:09, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In Filmography, please add "2012" to the "Year" column. Please add "Act of Valor" to the "Film" column. Please add "Lisa Morales" to the "Role" column. I watched this movie last night. See www.imdb.com/title/tt1591479, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Act_of_Valor or movies.yahoo.com/movie/act-of-valor/ for cast.

Ricky Martin[edit]

On The View and Wendy Williams she mentioned that she went to school with Ricky Martin. I can't find the video from the View on YouTube but here's the video from Wendy Williams http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G4mIADxQXts (they talk about it at about 4:09)

  • Not unless there is a "reliable verifiable" that can be cited and posted as proof of what she said and that she indeed said it. Tony the Marine (talk) 18:54, 6 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Should the birth date be removed?[edit]

I'm asking because I'm reading her bio and some things regarding her early life make the 1973 birth year have a bit of ambiguity. It says she dropped out of the University Of Puerto Rico after having attending for three years and then moved to New York at age 18 in 1991. If she was 18 at the time and went to college for three years beforehand, that would mean she would have had to have graduated high school at around 15 or so.

I read a comment that was made in 2008 and that person claimed that she had to have moved to New York some years after 1991 since she won Miss Puerto Rico Petite and Miss American Petite in 1993 and 1994. However the article also mentions that after moving to New York in 1991, she returned to Puerto Rico a year later where she landed her first film role. So is it possible that she then returned to New York around the mid 90s?99.21.95.87 (talk) 12:44, 21 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

As has already been explained to you above, you need to provide a reliable published source which supports the change you think should be made. That means telling us where it was published, so that we can verify that it is from a reliable source. It's no help to post a page of writing about it without any indication where it's from, as anyone could have written it. Also, if you did copy the text you posted from somewhere, rather than writing it yourself, then it was almost certainly a copyright infringement, and should not he posted here. Given how unflattering the image of Ms. Sanchez is, I recommend we update it. For example, her Amazon Prime Video profile has an image (seen here) that is much more becoming. Stevemasta34 (talk) 02:39, 24 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
