Fair use rationale for Image:RoseRotanaSuitesTemp.jpg[edit]

Image:RoseRotanaSuitesTemp.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 10:43, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Building now complete[edit]

Per Emporis, the Rose Tower is now officially complete, and therefore has become the world's tallest building used only as a hotel. This page should be updated. Rai-me 02:21, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If I am not mistaken, the Rose Tower is not yet open. True, the tower is finished. But since it has not officially opened as a hotel (yet), the Burj Al Arab is still number one. --Leitmanp 03:53, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, thank you for the clarification. But one thing still needs to be updated - I think that since the building is externally complete, we should update "Topped out" to "Complete", with a note saying that while the exterior is complete, it is not yet inhabitable. Emporis and SkyscraperPage both list the building as "complete." Rai-me 13:02, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I will change it. --Leitmanp 19:17, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tallest Hotel?[edit]

This claim contradicts other articles which say that Abraj Al Bait is taller. This should be rewritten to reflect that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by BenW (talkcontribs) 18:19, 11 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Change of name for "Rose Tower" to Rose Rayhaan by Rotana[edit]

The name of this building (the second tallest hotel tower in the world) is Rose Rayhaan by Rotana. Rose Tower is a wrong name and the title needs to be changed.

Please see the official website of the hotels with the correct name - https://www.rotana.com/roserayhaanbyrotana

All the external links in Reference section also have the title as Rose Tower but when its opened, you will see all these external links also have the name of the building as "Rose Rayhaan by Rotana".

Please assist to make the changes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by BlaisenTom (talkcontribs) 08:22, 22 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Confusing because most of the remaining valid links in the article do refer to "Rose Rayhaan by Rotana," but there are a few referendces which include the "Rose Tower" designation. For example, there is a parenthetical reference to the Rose Tower name in this Telegraph UK article. Is there some reason NOT to change the name to that of most of the references? But even that one uses the "Rose Rayhaan by Rotana" designation as the primary name. I'm inclined to make the change, but seek more input. Geoff | Who, me? 16:03, 23 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Dear Geoff - The name of this building; the second tallest hotel tower in the world, is Rose Rayhaan by Rotana. Rose Tower at The University of Alabama had imploded in 2012 and it is inappropriate to have the content to be correlated to these two building which are completely different and at two different countries. The current title "Rose Tower" is wrong and the original name of the hotel is “Rose Rayhaan by Rotana”. Please see the official website of the hotel with the correct name for verification and reference - https://www.rotana.com/roserayhaanbyrotana. Similarly, all the external links in Reference section also have the title as Rose Tower but when clicked to open, you will see all these external links also have the correct name of the building as "Rose Rayhaan by Rotana". It would be of great help if you can do the needful to make the necessary changes on the Wikipedia article, so the content remains accurate for users. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.50.19.100 (talk) 06:47, 25 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
