I'll review this within the next few days. Secret account 00:54, 24 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Reviewing....

  • "and also suited up" is slang, maybe he also played?
    • That would have made two "played"s in one sentence. I went with "spent time with"
  • Did he had any accomplishments with the Yaroslavl Torpedo, he played three seasons with them so one sentence about his playing career there seems a bit short.
    • Nothing that can be sourced.
  • "he recorded 22 goals and 22 assists" Goals and assists both needs to be wikilinked
    • Done.
  • "He was considered an atypical Russian prospect due to his attention to defensive play." What is a "typical Russian prospect" and do you got a source for this, I recommend removal unless you could clarify this clearer.
    • A typical Russian prospect by NHL standards does not pay attention to defensive play, thus Lyashenko was atypical before he does pay attention to defensive play. It is covered in the provided citation for the following sentence, both summarizing his performance / potential leading up to draft.
  • "Some previews for the draft had him ranked as a first round prospect." That needs multiple sources as only one preview (source) for the draft is linked.

Fixed.

  • "Rangers in the NHL, and 71 with the Wolfpack in the AHL" We already know that the Rangers in the NHL and the Wolfpack in the AHL from previous information, redundant wording so remove.
    • Fixed
  • Donika played with Lyashenko on all three medal winning World Junior teams. - The previous sentence indicates Donika was a teammate of Lyashenko, so this sentence is slightly redundant, remove.
    • Adjusted the wording
  • Did the police/NHL ever found out why he committed suicide?
    • Nothing verifiable.
  • The image has a fair use rationale and it's considered valid, considering the subject had a relatively brief playing career and died over 10 years ago.
  • Most of the sources are off-wiki so I'll assume good faith on them. I looked at Citation 9, and the information linked accurately to the source, no close paraphrasing concerns, quotations are correct.
