Beginning Edits[edit]

To clarify this article, I've removed the references to Daisy Miller and created a separate article for the disease mentioned in Wharton's story. Thus, I feel that removing the unclear tag is justified. However, I don't have enough literary expertise or knowledge of outside sources to do much more than modify the plot summary. It would be great if somebody with that kind of knowledge could contribute to this article. Huntthetroll 17:17, 12 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism[edit]

The page seems to have been vandalized quite a bit, probably due to the story being included in recent High School and College texts. I reversed what vandalism I could see, but a person knowledgeable about the author and story should review the article for more subtle falsehoods, such as incorrect dates/names. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.230.161.164 (talk) 05:21, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm going to add this article to my watchlist. Huntthetroll (talk) 18:18, 19 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox[edit]

I added an infobox to the article and therefore removed the "needs infobox" template from this talk page. Huntthetroll (talk) 02:48, 19 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Contributions to Post[edit]

There is no “analysis” section on the page. I will create this section and provide relevant information with links and appropriate cites to help readers further their study of the text. Finally, there is no mention of “dramatic irony,” which is one of the boldest elements of the story. I will add this information under the proposed “analysis” section. I changed the rating to Start-Class because I've organized the article, added a citation, added a link to a similar story, and added an infobox, although I admit that the article needs much more work than that. Huntthetroll (talk) 00:58, 20 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
