AVGN[edit]

I can't help but notice that the anonymous user 74.108.113.181 seems to have made it their personal mission to make sure AVGN is not featured in this article. If you look at the edit history of this page, every few edits listed are made by 74.108.113.181, and they are all edits to remove the AVGN reference to Rolling Rock. I feel that these edits are disruptive and unreasonable. They are never justified through any sort of edit summary. As per Wikipedia guidelines, I want to start a discussion regarding this problem here, before I potentially escalate this problem to dispute resolution or what have you. I was googling my IP address and found my earlier comment on this talk page, to find yours. Although I may not be a official member of the community and just a outside user, it makes me want to finally officially make a account to keep track of things like as well. If there for 10+ references in the pop culture section, then I don't see why the avgn one has to adamently stay out..is anybody taking out the other ones with such vehemence ? 24.36.155.70 (talk) 08:40, 13 August 2014 (UTC) anon[reply]

"Current bottles have plastic labels"[edit]

I'm definitely not the type to use a talk page, but I cannot help but become annoyed by this article because it claims "current bottles have plastic labels".

Despite the fact that Rolling Rock was bought-out by AB in 2006, AB has continued the tradition of painted-on labels. I'm drinking a bottle of Rolling Rock purchased last week and it does NOT have plastic on the bottle ANYWHERE. As far as I can tell the entire bottle is still painted with the label.

Instead of simply editing the article myself I thought I was call attention to this wording. Is it true? Have I simply lucked out and purchased a 12 pack that does not have plastic labels? I think the truth is that someone wants to 'diss' the current product of yore by saying that! I'll leave the rest up to you guys, just beer for thought.

Editorialization of Changeover[edit]

The article states that the beer was once "semi-premium", but is now "virtually indistinguishable" from the rest of anheuser's brands. These are not facts. I think the changeover can be described more objectively. 108.24.91.71 (talk) 03:45, 8 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

There was a 33 beer in Viet Nam in the 60s. Its history, back to France in the early 1900s, is described in

33 referred to the 33 cl (=11.2 oz) bottle.
