I am not sure how hard this article pushes his influence in Britains tactics in Northern Ireland or Americas in Iraq. It seems to imply large scale torture is considered a legitimate tactic by those armies. This looks to me like POV. 145.253.108.22 10:45, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. The only connection between this work and at least the US war in Iraq is that it is available at the US Command and General Staff College, but so is a whole lot of other stuff. What proof does the writer have that 1) the US or British are applying lessons from this, or 2) if they are, that they are using torture. One of the big lessons of Algeria is that torture does you more harm than good. I'd also like the statement retracted or changed significantly. PowerPointSamurai 03:21, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
