Added Content[edit]

I have updated this page with some considerable content on the history of the school. If anyone wants to add references or make links, do it! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Seatosky2 (talkcontribs) 20:14, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Un-cited "Bring a tripod to school day" reference[edit]

I'm the guy who came up with the event, so I'd know. Everyone in my grade would attest to it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.87.89.50 (talk) 16:13, 23 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ehhh... I think I know who this might be... I also attend this school, and I can attest to his words. Regardless, this obviously doesn't qualify as proper evidence...

Also, WP policies get in the way of adding worthwhile content. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.80.64.182 (talk) 00:31, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Lockdown[edit]

I'm curious as to why there is an ongoing battle regarding media attention and the 2009 lockdown, which was covered considerably in the media. There are clearly several articles to cite from, so what was the rationale in deleting the section? Surely some people who are lead here will want to know about those events, not that it would be biased information since the section clearly stated that the media tends to sensationalize any stories about West Vancouver schools because of the district's reputation as being the wealthiest and safest (one of the lowest crime rates and highest funded police services) district in Canada. I've reverted the deletion of that section, and added a citation for the lockdown (from the Vancouver Sun). I hope people will stop removing it! Indigochild 03:17, 25 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
