Please help clean-up formatting.[edit]

I was having a terrible time editing on mobile and would be glad for someone to clean-up the formatting. Ballaurena81 (talk) 18:23, 27 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Ballaurena81: 2020 Census data beyond the racial composition of some geographies has yet to be released. As such, I advise you hold off on adding detailed data, as this seems to be based on the American Community Survey, which is less reliable. SounderBruce 02:30, 28 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

SounderBruce Thanks for the explanation at least, but why did you erase all of my contribution if the racial makeup was likely OK? And couldn't it have been left in with this warning of it being less reliable? I did the research myself because I came to Wikipedia and found the functionally current data that I needed, notably missing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ballaurena81 (talkcontribs) 04:58, 12 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

In-text attribution should not be used to warn of a source's reliability. A reader expects hard data like Census figures to be accurate, so we should avoid misrepresenting it. The full results will be available by May or June 2023, and there is no need to rush that far ahead. SounderBruce 05:11, 12 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
