Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... Robin Peckham is an established arts critic and curator who not only publishes with the most famous arts publication in the world (Art Forum), but has worked with many prominent arts institutions and has founded a successful art gallery. So I'm confused, why is this article being contested? Do you need more references? --Ozarkshark (talk) 01:31, 3 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have verifiable reliable sources independent of the subject to confirm any of that?   — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 01:32, 3 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Is eight enough? Or would you like more?

I liked the CNNGO ref, that's why I withdrew my db-person tag.   — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 02:32, 3 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
A lot of this is coverage of the gallery, not the guy. --Orange Mike | Talk 17:19, 23 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]

Robin is a well known figure in contemporary art, particularly in China, Hong Kong and Asia. The article is well formatted, and should be left in tact. He is important to have in wikipedia. --Jon Phillips (talk) 05:05, 3 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
