Painting copyrights[edit]

The paintings in this article seem to have the wrong Wikipedia:Fair use copyright tag. They are currently taged Template:Eventposter, the correct tag seems to be Template:Art The amount of art in this article seems to be a problem - Wikipedia:Fair use states: The amount of copyrighted work used should be as little as possible. Low-resolution images should be used instead of high-resolution images (especially images that are so high-resolution that they could be used for piracy). Image:Carousel in the Country 600.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Known painter?[edit]

I have added "Dubious" tag as to the intro description that Robert B. Sherman is a "known painter". Is there a source for this? He is known for his work as a painter. He has had exhibits across the globe and has been covered in news and print. He has sold his work professionally. I have taken off the "dubious" tag for this reason.86.129.143.114 (talk) 22:56, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
