Requested move[edit]

It was proposed below that List of Melbourne freeways be renamed and moved to List of freeways in Victoria. There was no consensus, instead it was moved to Freeways in Victoria--Henrygb 16:09, 4 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Some of the freeways mentioned in this article are also located in rural Victoria and not just Melbourne. – AxSkov ()

  • Oppose. It's not a list, it's a full and proper article (that has a list) or at least could easily be extended to one; 'Victorian freeways' or 'Freeways in Victoria' would be better. —Felix the Cassowary (ɑe hɪː ) 15:33, 9 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Cassowary's right that this is more of a proper article rather than a list, so I would also support a move to Freeways in Victoria. I prefer 'Freeways in Victoria' rather than 'Victorian freeways'. – AxSkov () 05:39, 11 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • I added a bit of a picture, it's going to be taken away in 7 days though because I'm not sure of the copyright, but let me know what you think, I went to alot of trouble discovering those proposed freeways.

Oh and if anyone actually has a copy of or knows where to get the transportation plan or the freeway plans of 1969 I'd apreciate it alot. Thanks Nick carson 05:45, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Addition to Under Construction[edit]

Currently the Pakenham By-pass which links the Princess Freeway in Berwick to the Princess Freeway in Nar Nar Goon. This free way will by-pass Beaconsfield, Officer and Pakenham. Scheduled completion date is 2007/8. I will try to find out where the on/off ramps will be located.
