new here - but wondered if a link to my website could be included?[edit]

Hi. I'm not at all sure how all this works, but I have just made a website with pictures from my family's recent walk along the river Parrett (mainly following the River Parrett Trail) from source to mouth. Could it be included as a link at the bottom of this article do you think?

Hi & welcome to wikipedia. The site you developed about your walk provides lots of nice photos, but little additional encyclopaedic content which is not already included in this article or River Parrett. If you look at the guidelines at Wikipedia:External links on what should be included and excluded as external links it says to avoid links to personal web pages. I would also be slightly concerned re the photographs of information boards etc as these could potentially breach the copyright of organisations or individuals which put them in position. Therefore I would suggest not adding them as external links, but would welcome your editing of the articles with additional material.— Rod talk 11:33, 29 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
