p/q[edit]

In the last sentence, it is written

If the particle momentum, p, is given in GeV/c, then the rigidity, in tesla-metres, is Bρ = 3.3356p.

I think it should be

If the particle momentum, p, is given in GeV/c, then the rigidity, in tesla-metres, is Bρ = 3.3356p/q.

Are you agree? Pamputt (talk) 17:26, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

relativistic equation[edit]

Hello, formula given in this page is exact in classical case. In the relativistic case, you should use this formula

I do not add this equation because I do not manage to find some reference to validate this equation. Pamputt (talk) 17:27, 7 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That is not needed if you are using the relativistic definition of momentum, and in accelerator physics you'd better be. 194.36.2.132 (talk) 18:11, 20 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
