Booooo!!!!!!!!!![edit]

I felt offended by the article. I played right field in little league and I still play it in High School. So please change it to be less offensive. Thank you. Thekostiknator 18:42, 7 November 2006 (UTC)Thekostiknator[reply]

I agree. Could we at least cite a reference to back up this insulting claim?!? Jason Keyes 03:21, 13 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Does a song count as a reference, too? Peter, Paul and Mary – Right Field.78.142.159.226 (talk) 15:01, 11 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I added a source for the claim that RF has a reputation for being a position to "hide" weaker players. SchnitteUK (talk) 15:26, 14 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Can somebody please make a chart of the starting right fielders? Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mstatedawgs23 (talkcontribs) 03:45, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The image of Right Field as the place you put the non-fielder was very strong when I was a kid (I caught) and most of the youth league players and managers appeared to believe it. That is a fallacy, as can be seen by looking at who plays right in the Major Leagues, does not keep it from being a widespread belief. When I managed in kids leagues myself, I didn't follow this pattern but quite a few of the other teams seemed to do so. Youth leagues may be more sophisticated now. 76.28.103.69 (talk) 18:34, 13 September 2009 (UTC)Will in New Haven76.28.103.69 (talk) 18:34, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
