Katherineterumi, while the UC Berkeley article is very detailed, it is also a primary source interview, so can't count towards GNG. SPUR is also relatively primary. Can you find some more articles? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 18:42, 8 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Katherineterumi. There is some non-WP:PRIMARY coverage in the introduction of the Berkeley piece and it does appear to be a WP:RELIABLE and WP:INDEPENDENT source. The fact that the interview was published is evidence of notability in itself. Washington Post coverage is solid. ~Kvng (talk) 14:20, 12 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

He does have coverage in other sources (I've added to refideas on those), but none in as much detail as the UC Berkeley article collection. I've seen reprints of Franz's article that he has released to other newspapers. Kvng, if you can vet that the UC Berkeley portions meet WP:GNG then that will be good enough coupled with Franz's.
