  3. additional details about the political environment in Delaware in the early 20th century
  4. additional details about the issues and accomplishments of Kenney's term as senator

Senator Kenney was involved in a scandal involving fraud at the Dover National Bank in the late 1890s. According to 2 newspaper articles concerning William Newell Boggs (half-brother of my g-g-grandfather, hence the family interest for me), the Senator was twice tried, but both trials resulted in a hung jury. Unfortunately I do not have citations for those articles, only copies of clippings. Boggs, a teller at the bank, cooperated with the US Attorney, and was put in witness protection in prison. Further research is needed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jbp1964 (talkcontribs) 16:07, 5 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
