NPOV editing[edit]

I've removed a section involving a very non-NPOV explanation of Richard Mack's alleged "hypocrisy." While the interactions of his refusal to accept ACA insurance, his medical situation, and his subsequent fundraising activities provide a rhetorical attack point, this specific element is neither NPOV nor significant enough to include in the article. CSPOA - "fringe group"[edit]

That's begging the question, assuming as fact that it's pro-Constitution and then asking why it's labelled extremist. Posse Comitatus connections[edit]

This article needs updating to cover his connections to white supremacists and the white supremacist Posse comitatus movement. It should be noted that the current consensus at that discussion is that there is not sufficient evidence/sourcing to suggest that Mack is in any sense a "member" of Posse Comitatus, although he does espouse a number of their ideas. --MelanieN (talk) 22:32, 25 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sources connecting Mack as a white supremacist and to the Posse Comitatus movement:

"It so happens, though, that these worlds often intersect with the racist and xenophobic groups that see the nation as divinely created for white people. For example, on Sept. 8, Mack appeared on “The Political Cesspool,” a wildly racist radio show that has promoted the views of white supremacists, neo-Nazis, Holocaust deniers, antigovernment conspiracy theorists and other extremists. He told host James Edwards, “We do have a solution for what’s going on in Washington, D.C. We can make the federal government irrelevant.”
Mack also has been a longtime supporter of white supremacist Randy Weaver. In 2003, he wrote the forward to Weaver’s book, Vicki, Sam and America: How the Government Killed All Three. It had been 11 years since the deadly siege of the Weavers’ cabin in Ruby Ridge, Idaho, an event that helped fuel the militia movement of the 1990s, but Mack treated the event with fresh indignation. He chastised the federal government for inflicting an “unimaginable hell” on the Weavers and defended the family’s racist ties under the guise of “restor[ing] America as a country dedicated to freedom and liberty.”"

Information said to be incorrect[edit]

DonovanRitter removed a paragraph which had citations, saying "This paragraph is not true, Richard Mack has never supported nor involved in any white supremacist movement. Im asking you nicely please leave it off your page. He will be grateful :)" In a previous back and forth Doug Weller had restored some of this text.

I just signaled the WP:BLPN for another opinion about this. Can anyone comment? Blue Rasberry (talk) 00:14, 16 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It looks to me, reading the sources, that Mack has supported and worked with white supremacist groups and individuals for decades. Are there any reliable sources that refute this? Cullen328 Let's discuss it 00:36, 16 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The content is definitely supported in multiple reliable sources but the section should be trimmed to avoid WP:UNDUE. Also, the heading should be condensed. Meatsgains (talk)
