Bad coördinates[edit]

For something that is supposedly over 110km long, the coördinates supplied are not very meaningful. Uncle G (talk) 12:10, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • The mid-point is usually given for this type of feature. Further co-ordinate points, e.g. start & end can be specified in the text/infobox if required. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Keith D (talkcontribs) 2010-10-08 12:34:35
    • What, exactly, is meaningful about the mid-point of something like this, which isn't a straight line? And, that aside for the moment, how do we know that these coördinates even are the mid-point? Uncle G (talk) 12:43, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
      • If you want further info then WP:Coord will be the place to go. They have a sub-page dealing with linear features here. Keith D (talk) 12:58, 8 October 2010 (UTC).[reply]

Route map[edit]

Why are some sections of the route map in light green? Keith D (talk) 21:09, 20 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Really? I see some parts of waterways in light blue (under the bridges), but the main track is of constant dark green for me. Maybe some icons use "green" instead of "#008000"? There's been some issues with that... Which section are in light green for you? YLSS (talk) 06:33, 21 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
