Dispute on notability[edit]

I don't agree that R. Mikutavičius was infamous. What about the fact that there was a monument for him built after his death? Doesn't that dispel all doubts about the notability of that article? He was not only a poet who had published some books, he was an activist during the Sąjūdis and he was even awarded the Order of the Lithuanian Grand Duke Gediminas. --Visconsus (talk) 12:05, 17 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The easiest way to dispel all doubts about this subject's notability is to cite reliable, published, third-party sources that document the notability of the subject. Is he mentioned in any books? Are there any newspaper accounts regarding the 70th birthday celebration? Ursasapien (talk) 04:43, 18 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It would be helpful to find English sources. Without be able to translate, the sources you have cited are not of much use on the English wiki. Ursasapien (talk) 05:04, 18 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
