Proposal to merge Rhody the Ram into Rhode Island Rams

I think that Rhody the Ram should be merged into this article. Rhody's current Wikipedia page is little more than a simple statement that he exists, and there are no citations that support the article. It doesn't meet WP:GNG at this point, but instead of being deleted, it should probably be merged into this article, which is the appropriate place for it. -Jhortman (talk) 14:54, 21 November 2012 (UTC)

Oppose I see one source on the page. It could use more, sure. By my count, 9 other articles (and other wikidocs) link to this article, so I don't think that merging to another article would be helpful.--Paul McDonald (talk) 14:55, 28 November 2012 (UTC)

Comment The content of the Rhody the Ram article could easily be merged into its own section on the Rhode Island Rams homepage, then a redirect established to that section from the old Rhody the Ram link. The fact that an article has lots of wikilinks to it doesn't inherently make it notable under the WP:GNG guideline. And the one reference listed in the Rhody article simply redirects to the front page of a newspaper website (which I've now noted in the article). -Jhortman (talk) 20:15, 28 November 2012 (UTC)

Dead Link

The link to the Athletics style guide is dead and there is no verification the "Keaney Blue, White, & Navy Blue". The University's website keeps directing me back to the regular Style Guide. MrEricSully 20:40, 12 March 2018
