Was the Rhett Butler in the film, "Gone With the Wind," a racist?
"Popular Culture"
A "popular culture" heading is only asking for trouble. Let's change it into something more sensible, please ("Characters inspired by" maybe?). I've just removed this from it, because it seems quite a stretch, it's not properly cited (manga? anime? original, subbing, dubbing?), and it doesn't seem notable enough to warrant a circular reference with Sailor Moon:
- In an episode of Sailor Moon, there is a very ugly and large cat whose owner has named him Rhett Butler, after this particular character. He actually becomes more important than people realize when it is discovered that he possesses a fragment of the silver crystal.

Other Rhett Butlers?

Removing names of family members
Gone with the Wind has two official sequels. In Scarlett Rhett's parents' names are Steven and Eleanor, his brother is Ross and his sister is Rosemary. In Rhett Butler's People his parents are called Langston and Elizabeth, his siblings are Julian and Rosemary. Right now the article is mixing the two, it lists Langston, Eleanor and Ross. I'm removing them. In the original GWTW only Rosemary is named, I leave her in the infobox but the rest has to be deleted until someone comes up with a good solution. – Alensha talk 17:16, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
