NO!! This article still looks as a personal college essay!!! Every personal opinion-looking sentence, in such stuff, must be directly sourced in order to avoid this (at least, here in Wikipedia) annoying flavor.--'''Attilios''' (talk) 18:57, 27 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Pronunciation?[edit]

Has anyone got a citation for how "Nevèrÿon" and "Neveryóna" (with their puzzling diacriticals) are meant to be pronounced? My best guess is something like /nɛvˈɛriˌɒn/ and /ˌnɛvərjˈnə/, but that's just speculation. --101.98.144.68 (talk) 21:20, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

After writing this I started re-reading the series and noticed almost immediately that in the preface (by the fictional K. Leslie Steiner) to "Tales of Nevèrÿon", the pronunciation is given: "The ancient land called Nevèrÿon is pronounced (I've been told by the editor, who presumably at least once lunched with Delany himself) Ne-VER-y-on: four syllables with the accent on the antepenult. The phrase 'Flight from Nevèrÿon' more or less rhymes with the word 'octogenarian.' And Neveryóna ... is pronounced Ne-ver-y-O-na: five syllabels with the primary accent on the penult, and a secondary one on the second syllable: the word rhymes -- roughly -- with 'Defer Pomona.'" --101.98.144.68 (talk) 05:43, 26 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Delany Neveryon-Series.jpg[edit]

Image:Delany Neveryon-Series.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
